Work Parties

Goldmyer would not exist today without the hard work of our dedicated volunteers!
There is never a shortage of projects underway at Goldmyer Hot Springs and assistance is always appreciated.

To get involved, please complete the working member application (download before filling out and save before sending)
and email it to our volunteer coordinator (GoldmyerVolunteer@outlook.com).
Some common volunteer projects include trail work, construction, fund-raising, office tasks, education, forest rehabilitation, supplies hauling, and more.

Working Members

Working members who volunteer 10 hours on approved work projects receive a 4-visit pass.
Experience is not required, all skill levels welcome.

Board Meetings

The Northwest Wilderness Program's board of directors and volunteers meet once a month at the Seattle office, located in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. The office is located upstairs and is accessed via a staircase at the back of the building. Meetings may also be attended via Zoom. Call the office for information on how to attend.

Board meetings are normally held on the first Monday of every month at 6:00 pm. In the case of holidays, the meeting usually happens the following Monday.
The annual meeting is typically held in the month of February (see calendar for exact dates).

Meetings are open to the public and we welcome your input and interest.
Discussions can include subjects ranging from legal issues, management concerns, policies, work projects, and greater Middle Fork Valley activity and how it may impact the springs.

The nine board members include a diverse group of backgrounds and experiences to strengthen the organizations ability to balance preservation with public access at the hot springs.

Visitor feedback and involvement is always welcome.
All attendees are invited to continue discussion after the meeting while getting dinner at a nearby restaurant.
