Goldmyer would not exist today without the hard work of our dedicated volunteers!
There is never a shortage of projects underway at Goldmyer Hot Springs and we are always looking for help.
To get involved, please fill out the working member application and email it to our volunteer coordinator.
Some common volunteer projects include trail work, construction, fund-raising, forest rehabilitation, supplies hauling, education projects, and more.
Working members who volunteer 10 hours on approved work projects receive a 4-visit pass.
Experience is not required, although we are always looking for folks with various skills to contribute.
The Northwest Wilderness Program's board of directors and volunteers meets once a month at the Seattle office.
Board meetings are normally held on the first Monday of every month at 6:00 pm.
The annual meeting is typically held in the month of February.
Meetings are open to the public and we welcome your input and interest.
Access to meetings is by way of a staircase at the rear of the building.
Discussions can include subjects ranging from legal issues, management concerns, policies, work projects, and greater Middle Fork Valley issues and how they might affect Goldmyer.
The nine board members include a diverse group of backgrounds and experiences. This diversity strengthens our ability to accomplish our goals.Visitor feedback and involvement is always welcome. Join us for dinner next door at Gorditos restaurant after each meeting!
