Reservation Instructions

  • Please review the Access Report and COVID-19 Response pages for the most up to date reservation details as they are frequently changing.

  • April reservation requests open 9AM March 1st, 2021 via voicemail.
  • A lottery system begins March 2nd, 2021 (for May reservation requests).

  • The only way to guarantee access to Goldmyer is by confirming a reservation over the phone with Seattle office staff.
  • Requests are returned in the order they are received to confirm and process payment.
  • If you're unable to answer our call back, please return it as soon as you're able during office hours.

  • There is no need to call multiple times before receiving a call back.
  • If you need to cancel some or all of your reservation, please be courteous and let the office know as soon as possible so your reservation can be opened up to other visitors.
  • Current COVID-19 restrictions limit access to 10 people per day (two groups up to 5 people each).
  • Please familiarize yourself with Goldmyer's rules.
  • Read the directions explaining the demanding drive and roughly 10 miles (round trip) of hiking required to visit.
  • A NW Forest Pass is required to park at the trailhead.
  • Look over the calendar to see what days have openings.
  • Browse recommended equipment.
  • The pools are usually, but not always, clothing optional.
  • Monitor the access report and weather forecast for the latest condition estimates when preparing for your trip.

  • Enter the monthly lottery, or If you see an opening on the calendar, call 206.789.5631 and leave a voice mail.
  • Include your full name, date(s) of your intended visit, group size, phone number, and the best time to call you back.
  • Messages are returned in the order they are received during office hours, we appreciate your patience!

  • All visitors must fill out a Release and Conditions of Use form for each visit.
  • All visitors must read the Goldmyer Information Flyer, which includes the need-to-know-info for visiting Goldmyer.


Pricing

Prices are per person, per day.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
  • Children (1-17): Free
  • Adults (18-64): $20
  • Seniors (65+): $15
Camping: Camping may be available for an additional fee, depending on current COVID-19 restrictions (see calendar).


Memberships

Working members are able to earn visits through volunteer work.
Supporting memberships are not available at this time; however, donations are always appreciated (especially during times of reduced capacity such as the Covid-19 pandemic).


Checking In and Out

All visitors must check-in and check-out with the caretakers.
Please ring the bell on the sign by the caretaker cabin upon arrival and departure.
Times have been adjusted in response to COVID-19.

  • For all visitors, check in is 10:00 am or 4:00 pm, depending on the time slot.
  • For day visitors, check out is 2:00 pm or 8:00 pm, depending on the time slot.
  • For camping visitors, check out from spring pools is 8:00 am (the following day). Check out from property is 10:00 am.
  • If arriving before 10:00 am, after 8:00 pm, or for the wrong time slot, you may NOT check in or use the springs. Please go off property and return during check in times.


Daily Visitor Limit + Group Size Limit

COVID-19 restrictions currently limit access to...

  • Two groups of up to 5 people each per day
  • Total of up to 10 people per day

  • No groups larger than 5 people are permitted.
  • Visitor limits were established in the 1980's to assist in preserving the area's fragile ecology and wilderness experience.

Walk-in visitors without a confirmed reservation will be turned away.


Camping

The Goldmyer campgrounds may be available for an additional fee, depending on current Covid-19 restrictions.


Youth Groups

Inquire with our office about special use policies for youth groups.


Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel some or all of your reservation, please be courteous and let the office know as soon as possible so your reservation can be opened up to other visitors.
  • If you have a reservation and are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, DO NOT visit the property. Contact the office.


For cancellations received less than one week before your reservation...

  • your reservation will be donated to the continuing stewardship of Goldmyer Hot Springs.

For cancellations received less than two weeks but at least one week prior to your reservation...

  • your visit can be rescheduled for a future date which is available.
  • or, a credit can be issued for use within one year of the original reservation date.

For cancellations received two weeks or more before your reservation...

  • your visit can be rescheduled for a future date which is available.
  • or, a credit can be issued for use within one year of the original reservation date.
  • or, a refund can be issued minus a $10 or 25% transaction fee, whichever is greater.

To use reservation credits...

  • You must call the office, mention you have a credit on file, and make a reservation.
  • Reservation credits are valid for one year from the original reservation date.
